This section contains an illustrative compilation of tools applied in the verification practice of existing arms control and disarmament agreements. The purpose of this section is to provide an overview of the range of methods and techniques for verifying compliance. This is not intended as a comprehensive overview of all available tools. This section is mostly composed of excerpts from UNDIR’s arms control and disarmament lexicon and verification handbook. A collection of additional resources is also provided for each item for further exploration.
